Grant Writing / Funding Procurement
DAL identifies funding opportunities to help our clients implement programs that benefit their community. We have successfully helped clients set up Joint Ventures with private organizations; draft letters to the government offices requesting support; and negotiated with crown corporations for financial reparations should their business affect our clients’ traditional territories.

Progress / Financial Reporting
Most funding programs provide 50% of funds up front, and the remaining 50% upon submission of progress/financial reports. Many communities struggle with completing the reporting portion, and as a result, delay or forfeit the remaining portion of funds.

Dispute Resolution
Even when agreements have been signed, sometimes, both parties do not agree on the settlement outcome. If unresolved, this may result in a lengthy and expensive court battle. Trained in conflict resolution, DAL aims to resolve such issues outside of court, and find amicable outcomes that benefits both parties.
